Kerman Medical Tourism Hub
Kerman is considered as one of the most important cities in the southeast part of Iran. It is close to Yazd and Isfahan. The city has major mineral mines, i.e. Sarcheshmeh copper mine considered as the largest of its kind in the world. The city has a strong cultural identity, and there are many historical mosques and Zorastian temples there. The city had its roots in Sasanid dynasty when Ardashir established the city as the defensive fort during the battle of Nahavand, hence used to be called Veh-Ardashir.
Chabahar port is going to be a strategic port in the southeastern part of Iran adjacent to the Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman. This port is located close to Oman, Qatar and Pakistan and it enjoys from a diverse group of ethics living there.
Chabahar is in Sistan-Baluchistan Province which is close to Kerman and Hormozgan provinces in the west. Chabahar is the biggest port in Iran, and one of the Free Trade Zones is being built there in a joint project with Indian investment. The Chabahar is particular of interest for birdwatchers and scuba diving enthusiasts.
